The FUSO Canter 3.5 t is ideally suited for use in the city and urban environments. Its compact dimensions and the design as a front steer without a nose make it extremely agile, manoeuvrable, and shunting-friendly.
Payload
Courtesy of the chassis payload of up to 1565kg available across 2,500mm, 2,800mm and 3,400mm wheelbases the Canter 3.5T is capable of transporting heavy loads to places other light trucks simply can’t. Combined with both standard and comfort single and comfort double cab options that allow for up to three and six seats respectively the Canter 3.5T is impressively versatile.
Performance
The Canter 3.5T boasts the smallest turning circle in the 3.5 tonne class at 10.2m with the 2,500mm wheelbase and excellent all-round visibility. Additionally, the 130ps engine capable of producing 350Nm of torque is available with either a 5-speed manual or 6 speed DUONIC dual-clutch transmission and meets the EURO 6 standard allowing you to travel through clean air zones free of charge.

The increased use of renewable and green energy sources and the adaptation of internal processes are important building blocks in the implementation. FUSO is specifically aiming for completely CO2-free production in our plant in Tramagal that produces all FUSO Canter trucks in Europe.

Small but tough, the Canter 3.5t carries heavy loads (payload of up to 1.5t) and has great driver visibility, making it perfectly suited to construction work on site and off. Towing equipment isn’t a problem, with a max gross train weight of up to 7t. And there’s room for everyone, with space for up to six people in the crew cab.
The compact Canter 3.5t expertly navigates narrow paths and tracks in parks and woodland, while carrying more than bonneted LCVs (payload of up to 1.5t). Its low-bed platform makes it easy to transport equipment such as ride-on mowers. If you prefer a to tow a trailer, that’s no problem with a max gross train weight of up to 7t.
If you need a vehicle able to carry out a host of municipal tasks, look no further. The Canter 3.5t has a small turning circle, narrow cab and excellent visibility, making it perfect for urban use. It’s easy to drive (no special licence needed!) and eco-friendly, with state-of-the-art Euro VI emission control. Plus it can carry more than you’d expect, with a payload of up to 1.5t (combined bodyweight and payload allowance).
