The FUSO Canter 7.5 T is simply the best choice for (almost) any job, because its convincing key data make it an ideal vehicle for almost all logistics applications.
As is a key aspect of the Canter range, the Canter 7.5 T naturally offers the typical compact dimensions of a light truck, which make it agile and easy to manoeuvre. Moreover, depending on the configuration, it weighs in at an unbeatable low tare weight in its class.
Payload
And what an impressive payload it is. Capable of carrying a chassis payload of up to almost 5 tonnes (4,970kg) with 2,800mm, 3,400mm, 3,850mm, 4,300mm and 4,750mm wheelbases and a 1,995mm wide comfort single or double cab with three and seven seats respectively the Canter 7.5T provides the best payload in its class.
Performance
Proving the versatility of the Canter range the Canter 7.5T is available with either manual 5-speed or 6-speed DUONIC dual clutch transmission that works in synergy with both the 150ps/400 Nm and 175ps/430 Nm engines. Combining all of this with the 11.8m turning circle with the 2,500mm wheelbase ensures that the Canter 7.5T is not only a powerful and economical light truck but also manoeuvrable.

Canter 8.55T
The Canter 8.55T. Ready for heavy cases.
The FUSO Canter 8.55T offers an outstanding payload balance with its almost 6 t chassis load capacity and a permissible gross train weight (GVW) of up to 12.05 t making it the ideal workhorse for heavy cases.
Payload
The near 6 tonne (5,985kg) chassis payload of the Canter 8.55T is impressive on its own but combine that with wheelbase options of 3,400mm, 3,850mm, 4,300mm and 4,750mm available it becomes truly staggering.
Performance
The outstanding 13.8m turning circle in the 3,400mm wheelbase ensure that the excellent manoeuvrability the Canter range is known for is retained in the Canter 8.55T. Fitted with the powerful 175ps/430 Nm engine and the smooth 6-speed DUONIC dual clutch transmission almost no load is too much for the Canter 8.55T.
Sustainability
As part of Daimler Truck AG, Mitsubishi FUSO Truck Europe is also committed to ambitious sustainability goals. The increased use of renewable and green energy sources and the adaptation of internal processes are important building blocks in the implementation. FUSO is specifically aiming for completely CO2-free production in our plant in Tramagal that produces all FUSO Canter trucks in Europe.

Got a tricky drop-off to make? Not sure if you’ll be able to squeeze through? With Canter, you can. Its short wheelbase, narrow cab and small turning circle means you can manoeuvre into the narrowest of spaces. The low cab and deep side windows provide excellent visibility, making it perfect for urban use. Plus loading/unloading is easier with a low load compartment sill and frame height. The Canter 7.5t’s market-leading payload (up to 5.01t, or 6t with the 8.55t model) means you can carry more. And there are plenty of customisable extras, such as tail lifts or refrigerated bodies.
The Canter 7.5t has the best payload on the market for its vehicle class (up to 5.01t) – and if that’s not enough for you, its big brother, the Canter 8.55t, offers an additional tonne. Strength doesn’t mean that you miss out on manoeuvrability either: developed for congested, urban environments, both models are less than 2.2m wide and highly manoeuvrable, allowing access to zones restricted to the 10t limit. It’s your perfect construction partner.
Looking for a comfortable ride, a roomy cab, manoeuvrability and the best payload on the market? With the Canter 7.5t you can have it all. And if you need even greater carrying capacity, the Canter 8.55t offers an additional tonne of payload. Plus Canter’s low-bed platform makes it easy to transport equipment such as ride-on mowers. If you prefer a trailer, that’s no problem either, with a towing capacity of up to 3.5t.
